Don, I have replaced the cables on my TX472 with the tower in the vertical position and without removing the antennas. I also replaced the bearings in the pulleys while I was at it. I use an extensio

I should have mentioned that my TX472 does not have power pull down. In fact it does not have a power winch at all. I use a floor block and my small tractor to pull horizontally on the lift cable 73,
