- All: Not sure if this is the proper procedure, but the last time I replaced a Yaesu rotator on my U.S. Tower heavy-duty crank-up, I used the bolt that's built into the tower to hold the mast in place

- Tony, I would not trust that small bolt to hold up the mast while working under it (on the rotor) I use a muffler type U bolt above the thrust bearing to secure the mast. Good luck Joe K2UF All: Not

- I second what Joe proffers, I lost [dropped] my mast last year about 10-12 feet weighing near 350-400 pounds with all included, and geez oh Pete, a small bottle jack was all i could get to fit in
