- Jerry: I use 8 conductor rotor cable for my 1000sdx. I used it since I already had it on hand. I think its set up the same way as yours 2x18ga and 6x20g. I just didn't use 2 of the conductors. Its be

- Jerry, Since the Yaesu rotor only requires 6 conductors and you have an 8 conductor cable, you can also double up on two of the #22 wires. I am not familiar with Yaesu rotors but the CDR / HG rotors
