Hi Ed An inv Vee is a resonant antenna and is interacting with the loop. The signal noise will be the same on both antennas. Only way to compare is removing the inv Vee. Regards Jose Carlos --Origina

Hi Ed, First question is about the QTH, ground conditions. Close to salt water or sea of sand? That would help deciding on polarization. Inv Vee is not a bad performer and horizontal loop would have

An inv Vee is a resonant antenna and is interacting with the loop. An 80m inverted V isn't going to affect a 160m loop very much.. The signal noise will be the same on both antennas. Only way to comp

Concur. Inv Vee only resonant on 80. Loop smokes on 40m. No regrets. Going to build Moxon for 20m. Still have to get license before I can transmit. My comparisons have been exclusively on receive. Wi
