If I remember correctly, it's a 100/1 glideslope so for a 90' tower, you need to be 9000 feet from the nearest surface of the runway. Additionally, many airport areas have additional restrictions for

Whoopsie, I estimated my hacienda elevation at 928. It's actually 901.5. Makes a difference in the Towair calculator. The 5/23 runway at KDSM is at 915.6 with a 0.4% UP gradient. R. Kevin Stover AC0H
