The 7J4AAL Yagi is impressive, but what does he do with it ?? I have worked a lot of DX on 80/75 but he's not in my log. Rest assured, if I heard a JA on 80 in New England, I would be in their till I

I rarely listen on 75 as I'm not much of an SSB operator... but I've heard 7J4AAL booming in many times this past winter. He is usually around 3.800 and is the loudest JA I have ever heard on 80/75.

Or, if there's no skywave path, and the path loss between there and here is 400dB, it doesn't matter how much antenna you've got, you're still power limited. _________________________________________
