Any folks had trouble with a fully loaded G-5500 alt/el rotator? I have a friend who is considering putting an elliptical offset dish (probably 9 sq ft, with feed and mount) on this rotor in Northern

We used the Yaesu elevation rotor in a contest for a 4 x 12 El 2M array and it seemed like that was about the max. We wouldn't trust it for a permanent installation. Yaesu rates the load in something
