I put in some temporary grounds using the acorn type connector as I was going to be removing them shortly. Unfortunately it was nearly a year before the back hoe could get in to change out the septic

That's why I said "in some conditions", Dick - I'm sure our soil is quite alkaline, because there is limestone under the surface anywhere from a few inches to a few feet, which is constantly leaching
