I have never tried it, but in the electrical dept. of Lowe's the other day I saw "CRC" brand sealant in a pressurized can. Red in color and especially designed for electrical work, it presumably does

Most of the sealants contain acetic acid, that smells like vinegar while curing, and is corrosive to aluminum. The exception is black RTV made by Permatex, among others. This has nothing do to with h
