Not real sure where tvd got that the Telrex monobanders were not well built, Im currently using a 6 element 20 meter Telerex that wa originally installed in 1978 and it still rocks, Im thinkin there

Hi Joe, One has to appreciate and remember that typically responders on this reflector and perhaps most others speak as if they've done a national survey when more often their statements are not much

Good comments, Dave. I thought of another thing to add. Because of the through-the-boom element mounting, it was prohibitively difficult (which means almost impossible) to put the antenna together on
