3/8 diameter is pretty small for an HF element tip. Texas Towers only sells 6063-T832 tubing in that size. I'd use 6061-T6 aluminum which is a little stronger and more expensive. You can purchase fro

Texas Towers claims to sell 6 and 12 foot sections. The 12 foot sections I believe have to be sent by truck whereas the 6 foot sections can go UPS etc. I have only bought 6 foot sections myself. ____
