I'd like to see the hardware that was used to attach the boom to the mast. That plate is also suspect. Looks like a brushed aluminum finish, the breaks almost look like they were done with a hacksaw,

It's just the same old standard KLM stuff - 2" U-bolts to the plate; which are still up on the mast with the other part of the plate BTW. You need to talk to Tom about them. TomK5RC@aol.com Nonethele
