The Tri-State 2m FM Simplex Net recently picked up it's 6th state. A few weeks ago a temprature inversion lead to several check-ins working a station in midstate NY from the South Central PA region.
This is an outstnading idea. Give people a reason to get off the repeater and see what that radio can do, repeaters may not all ways be operational. Great Idea, now that is thinking out side the box
