In EN52 this summer and early Autumn, I noticed quite a bit of AM activity. I think it was a organized group, somewhere down to the SE. UNFORTUNATELY, they decided to do it on 144.140 - the WSJT M/S

In 1973, my Ameco TX-62 and I were on 145.08 and 50.4 AM. There was always a group of folks to work on 2 meters in the evening for a good part of the 1970s. Most of the six meter guys like W3BWU and
