I has the problem on my 2100H. Seems that when the DC line voltage drops below a certain point the display will dim and will fail to release from transmit. Chris - W2CWA

Whoops..forgot this... Also there is a menu option (don't recall which one it is) that will key the radio when you click the PTT once...keep it keyed when you release the button, and then will unkey
