Yes. There has been some discussion among hams in Illinois, anyway, about VHF activity on FD. We're planning on having quite a few stations active on VHF in this area. I'm going to take along my gear

The Clear Lake Amateur Radio Club will be running SSB/CW/FM on 50MHz (A) and on 144/222/440 (B/C/D) FM only. We have tried running SSB/CW on (B/C/D) but the number of Q's is not worth the effort that

Interesting, out here in northern CA, there was a lot of activity on 2M FM during FD until a couple of years ago. Last year the vast majority of the stations were on SSB. Very little activity on 220
