I strongly agree that the ARRL January VHF should be moved to the last weekend in January. No conflict with the NFL playoff games and no conflict with the NAQP SSB. I've felt this way for years now.

So instead of changing the contest date, just change the time. 0000z Saturday until 1700z Sunday. This fixes a couple of things. It give two mornings for tropo and the contest is over before the foot
