I am trying to get WL(latest version) to interface with my IC-706mkIIg. It works to a point. I used the civ_commander program to get the address and baud rate working. It will read the freq with this

Yes and no, depending on how bullet proof you want WriteLog to be. WL can tell how many bytes of data it has to read by the "FD" termination. Note below as read from civ-commander. 5 bytes: "default"
