Yesterday's TARA PSK31 Rumble was a fun event. I used WriteLog and it did very well. There are a couple of things that can be improved on. PSK31 contesting appears to take two hands more than RTTY. A

A few months ago I started having trouble tuning my TS870. When tuning slowly the frequency would not change. This made fine tuning of RTTY, PSK31 & CW signals very difficult. Thanks to Mike, W5ZPA,

I think there is a good explanation for this. I think it's been discussed here before and it may not be a problem on SSB but it has saved me on RTTY before. Here it is: Say you work a station and fo

It appears that you can use the "CW" set up for RTTY in tomorrow's NA Sprint. However, if you use rig control it appears you need to turn it off because any QSO's logged with your radio on FSK will c

You can use the Internet Sprint for tonight but it won't give you multipliers. The Internet Sprint is history and the NA Sprint is in it's place. The best way to setup WriteLog is the way Eric shows

Hi Bob and others that might be interested, PSK31 is normally run on LSB and is AFSK only. You must feed audio from your sound board to either your mic input or packet input on the radio for transmit

Has anyone figured out how to customize WriteLog to work the XE RTTY contest this weekend? I'm trying to figure it out but it's a little over my head right now. If I make any progress I'll post it. O

I know this is a little late, the contest has already started. You can use the ARRL Roundup for this contest if you want but it won't track your multipliers by band. I have set up using the DXpeditio

I can confirm that this does happen. But it happens for a reason. If you have the AFC box checked and a station calls you, the AFC will center itself on that signal. When you click on that callsign,

This has come up a few times when I've tried to help people with different problems. There is a way to simulate incoming text to the Rttyrite window. It's really quite easy. You can simulate incoming

It doesn't do you much good to network the three stations together if you want separate logs on each computer. If, for example, you have one station for RTTY, one for CW, and one for SSB, then you co
