Tnx to all who responded. For some bizarre reason, I had no COM ports showing under the [PORTS] section of the writelog.ini file (only two under the [RIGS] section). So I manual edited the .ini file

ARRRGGGHHH!!! Unless I have the wrong switch thrown here somewhere, the SSB message field lines will only accept 82 characters. For unique lengthy combinations of .wav files, I've run out of room ;-(
