To send CW with WL do I need some type of interface box between my rig and computer that's running XP? I have a serial cable between my computer and rig and can get WL to control it but it won't send

I'm getting ready for this weekend's CQ WW WPX contest and have run into some problems with WL. This will be only my 2nd time using the program. For some reason I can't get it to send the Serial No.

I'm using the same USB to Serial Adapter as W0YK and can confirm it works flawlessly. I also purchased my off of eBay. For keying my rig (TS-570DG) I use a Winkeyer USB. My HP computer is running Win
