- I believe it was Bill, W7TI, who pointed out when CQing, setting up the rig as if for running split makes receiving adjustment much simpler than trying to fiddle with RIT. I've been doing it this way

- Jim, I've recently gone through this myself while setting up a RigBlaster Pro to handle SSB and PSK audio I/O, as well as doing CW and FSK on one com port. FSK keys via TxD as usual, and CW is on DTR

- Yes, Alt-Gr has been a familiar fixture on German (at least) keyboards for a long time now. As I recall it allows a more feature-rich character set, or other options I've forgotten. I've got one pack
