The CQ WPX RTTY log checking software doesn't use the Claimed score field in the Cabrillo file so don't worry about it. Send in the Cabrillo file and the log checking will determine the scoring. Rand
I am trying to use an AirSpy HF+ SDR hooked to the Rx out port of my K3 to work with the bandmap in WriteLog. It kind of works, but I am not seeing the waterfall display (only the spectrum). Is anyon
I share your sentiments. I do a lot of save configuration because I operate different modes and sometimes I want bandmaps or cluster info and sometimes not. The one that really gets me now is the num
In WriteLog v12.42 you can select the contest "World Wide Digi Contest". That should give you what you need. This is a relatively new contest so you may need an updated version of WL to get this new
I asked for this same thing several years ago and Wayne added it. Used it a lot last weekend. When you have the QTC Send dialog open, there are 3 buttons near the bottom. They are labeled F, G, H. Ye
I am using WL 12.42 and DigiRite 1.1.18 with an MK2R+ as the sound/radio interface. I am using a computer setup where WSJT-X is working for both FT8 and FT4. During the WW Digi Contest test session t
Never mind. I knew when I hit the appropriate frustration level to request help, I was close to figuring it out. I had the box checked to set the rig to USB. The K3 wanted me to be in Data mode A. On
That is the correct format. See https://ww-digi.com/cabrillo.htm WL is putting sent and received RST/SNR in the Cabrillo files. This is due to a late change in the rules. You can work around this by
Agree with you on the color scheme of the multiplier status window. That yellow is hard to see. There is no way to set the colors for the multiplier window in the UI. However, you can do it by editin
I can confirm the same. Ability to decode did seem to degrade during the contest. And this was even when I had a number of hours away from the radio, but with WL/DR still running and decoding. Someth
I asked Wayne this same question earlier this week. His reply: DigiRite discovers if you want your sent CQ message to be directed by inspecting the bottom entry in WriteLog's RTTY messages setup dial

It is my understanding that the ARRL log submission process is using an old country file. It is not counting something correctly. Don't worry, the log checking software will use the appropriate file
Couple of things. The score reporting on log submission is new. It has uncovered some issues. These issues are all with the country file (TO4A was not recognized as a mult) and an arbitrary decision
I am using the IARU module. It allows text entry in the received exchange. Will let the CQMM committee do the scoring. This contest does seem to be growing. It needs a WL module. Randy K5ZD I would l
You can enter the 2 character county and then use Shift+Enter to log it. The scoring won't be right, but the Cabrillo file should come out OK. Randy K5ZD Did you find anything? I am having the same i
I started playing with the simulator this evening. It is an amazing piece of programming work and would be helpful for anyone wanting to get warmed up before a contest. I am trying to practice for 2B
