Is there a way to configure WriteLog to use the Soundcard DVK for everything *except* the QTC sending part for the Worked All Europe contest? We don't really want to use the robotic-sounding canned "

Looks like there's a bug in WriteLog for the WAE contests when networking stations together -- the QTCs sent on one machine are not reflected in the score or log of the other machine. So the second m

Nevermind... This island heat is getting to me. We had lost the network connection but WriteLog still indicated that it was connected (maybe a separete problem) -- Once we restarted both machines, ev

You can also build your own interface, probably cheaper than you can buy a ready-made one, using parts from RadioShack and your junk box. I built one for the IC-765 for our recent trip to PJ2 - worke

You always use a LOCAL copy of the file, even when networked. The only difference is that when you've linked the stations via the network, WriteLog communicates with the other stations to keep them i

You shouldn't need to worry about it -- let the logging program deal with the dupes. It doesn't create a scoring problem, it creates a log checking "problem" -- but even that's not much of a problem.
