This was true with ISA but is not the case with PCI cards... I have 4 COM ports (in addition to the usual COM1 and COM2) sharing IRQ 18. All are working tickety-boo. I don't what the problem is Alan.

Large and fast are relative terms. The amount of data to be transferred to accomplish this would be of no consequence with even a 10MHz Ethernet connection. I'm sure it could be done relatively easil

The problem is that COM ports are relatively consistent in driver implementation, wheras LPT ports are not. I use DX4Win, for example, and ver 6.03 will work for *some* LPT ports, but not all. It won
