Actually Writelog does keep a backup copy in an adif file. By default this happens in the same directory as the log file. Does anyone know of a way to make the system keep this on another drive? Jim

If you use this method you have to edit the ADI file if you want to track states. For many contests the state designator ends up being called "QTH" or "ARRL_SECTION" or something other that "STATE".

I don't think you can do rig control and FSK on the same port. They both use TXD. FSK out might not confuse the rig, but rig control would go out as FSK if PTT is active. Jim Rhodes K0XU jim@rhodesen

Have you tried the fkeys program that is downloadable from writelog.com. You can assign any function key or menu item or most any command to a button that you can just click with the mouse. With this
