It is NOT mainly a RTTY program. Period. It is a contest logging program which supports many contests, some of which are RTTY. MMTTY seems to be the premier FREE rtty program and it works quite well.
Sudenly the sound card options have stopped functioning. I can record one message and then when I try to use it I get an error indicating the sond card is not available?? Was working fine last contes
Just noticed an interesting problem with my 10 meter log. Seems ther are long sections ofthe log where writelog has mis assigned the country for the call. Seems long sections where they were all assi
What the hell is a "direct paraphrase"?? I have filtered ALL posts by Gil Baron so am not bothered by them. A "direct paraphrase??" Kinda like a "full output" blown tube!! Merry Christmas All! Ron N4
I agree. I blocked Gil after one of his rantings about a year back. Gil, if you see this, remember this is a HOBBY!! Perhaps you need to ask for your money back and buy another program. Certainly the
Guess I was wrong. I thought I had gotten the same report as some of the others but deleted it early in the contest so don't have it now. Sorry for the confusion. N4XD
Hi all I read the manual and can't seem to get this to work. If I understand correctly, to record on the fly, for say the message saved for F2, you hold down the shift and F2 key and start recording.

I just purchased a Targus port replicator for my dell 100. Running windows XP. Using the port replicator I find that USB2 is assigned to the LP port on the targus. Writelog does not allow me to choos
Indeed it was a request on how to get a usb to lpt port to work for Writelog. I side stepped the problem by having the com port do both rig control and cw. The Targus likes Com 4 for this. Thanks Ron
Thought I would pass this along to the collective group. This setup worked without a hitch during last weekends rtty contest. Dell Inspiron lap top Targus port replicator model (on back of replicator
I upgraded to latest version of Writelog and was trying to control the TenTec Orion during the ARRL 160 contest this past weekend. Very often it would log the freq as something other than 1.8Mhz. Did
First, let me say I have NO interest in Writelog other than being a user. That said, I have had NO trouble using LPT keying with Writelog on several different computers running W98, W2000 and now WXP
