This problem seems to occur in 10.50D too. I think I've noticed it before in other contests but can't remember which. The logic to not show the "bands/follow me" choices seems rather convoluted to me
Roger, Shut down Writelog and open writlog.ini. Look for the Multpliers section. It looks like this [Multipliers] CallPrefix=VE3XD Location=c:\ham\programs\ X=1 Y=9 Check your X and Y values. I suspe
Jan, "This is a reminder, sent out once a month, about your contesting.com mailing list memberships. It includes your subscription info and how to use it to change it or unsubscribe from a list. You
Hi Tony, My Cabrillo log for Multi-Two showed 0 and 1 whereas Writelog showed A and B. I doubt this matters as long as each station is identified uniquely which it is. 73, Don VE3XD _________________
Bob, Likely your call prefixin the writelog.ini file is messed up. For example, mine contains [Multipliers] CallPrefix=VE3XD Also be sure that you have converted the current wl_cty file to Writelog.
John, Give the new version of Morse Runner a try. You can find it at http://www.dxatlas.com/. 73, Don VE3XD _______________________________________________ WriteLog mailing list WriteLog@contesting.c
Same thing here except that I rebooted and then again installed 10.51m. Everything went okay the second time. Don VE3XD _______________________________________________ WriteLog mailing list WriteLog@
My guess is the QTH field doubles for both serial number (DX) and W/VE (domestic). This wasn't obvious to me either until I entered some sample data. Don't know what the C is for. 73, Don VE3XD _____
This problem is not only evident with LPT keying although I eventually gave up on using LPT in favour of serial either directly or with a USB adaptor. Although serial seems to be less of a problem I
Eric, You can go to the Contest menu and choose Create Reports... then select the reports you want. They are saved to your disk as text files. 73, Don VE3XD __________________________________________
Rick, I use a program called WL2DX4WIN found at http://sp7ps.pl/sp7dqr/eng/index_en.html. Export an ADIF file from Writelog and then use this software to convert it to DX4WINs format. In the process
No solution here but I want to confirm that this happens to me also and on two separate rigs and computers so it seems to rule out hardware. Strangely this almost only happens for my CQ message and v
Lloyd, Is your MMTTY really in theWritelog directory? MMTTY_LOCATION=C:\WriteLog\ By default mine is in the Program Files directory. MMTTY_LOCATION=C:\Program Files\MMTTY\ Don VE3XD --Original Messag
Mike, After you open a contest use the menu command Tools, Recover window layout... and choose the contest that had the layout you want to use. Of course it must have been setup and saved previously.
Interesting as I have a similar problem on the XP computer being used as a backup on the network. The main computer is using W98SE. But in my case the window is showing but without any multiplier con
Oms, I had the same thing happen recently, I think it was for Field Day. Turns out two different computers had two different version of Writelog. After upgrading the one computer to 10.54 and then co
This has been a problem for some time. I press Esc to cancel transmit. You need to listen to the tone and when it is a constant diddle you know it is finished sending data. After awhile you will find
Bill, That's exactly what will happen. Notice in the log window that Writelog shows the qso with a D for dupe but records all of the QTC information with the entry. You can scroll to the right to see
Phil, I'm using 10.55D and this doesn't do what you suggest for me unless I misunderstand your procedure. If I enter a call then wipe it, either by using Alt-W or the backspace the QTCs then get assi
