- I have had excellent luck with the interfaces made by W1GEE, and sold through http://www.hosenose.com/interfaces.asp They are the equivalent of the CT-17, and less than half the price. Usual disclaim

- This one works great, and has a DB-9 connector instead of DB-25 http://home.att.net/~k1nu/k1nu/Products/control.html These are certainly not the "equivalent" of CT-17, as they don't control 4 radios

- Larry, I fixed a fried CT-17 with a replacement chip from DigiKey. The chip was only few bucks and replacement was easily done with needlenose and a magnifying lamp. I also bought an interface cable
