I would guess it is because MMTTY is now the active program on your screen so keyboard control would be assigned to MMTTY and not WL. I am curious as to way you would need to press the TX button in M

MMTTY is being used as a plug-in and does not have keyboard access (you can't use F9 to "press" the TX button). Data to MMTTY in the plug-in state must come from the controlling program (WriteLog).

I have a touchpad on the laptop and use it when I am too lazy to get out the wireless mouse, or am working where there is no surface available to run a mouse over. I never could get used to the track

Cort, The trackball / Touchpad / mouse preferences may have a lot to do with speed and acceleration settings inside windows. The touchpad isn't great if their physical location the front center area

I guess I should add that I do use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse on the desktop and for all contests. I do not run high power and have never had any problems that I can attribute to the wireless. On
