The Radio Shack 273-1374 works fine. $3.99. You don't need two. Plug your mic straight into the sound card. Isolate the output of the sound card with a transformer on its way to the rig. Hal N4GG ___

Gilles ... I have used the Radio Shack transformer Part # 273-1374. It's a 1 to 1 isolation unit and the pri/sec impedance is 1K. Has worked fine for all my homebrew interfaces. I did use transformer
