After purchasing the program this past week I have been struggling for server hours now to set up CW keying. I've tired the LTP port with Userport and found unsatisfactory results. The configuaration

Hi FL, The rig is continuosly keyed. Then when there is a charactor keyed it cuts out the keying. In other words the spacing is keyed. I tried reversing the emittor and collector on the NPN transisto

Its the same circuit I used for the LPT output form ct. A PNP transistor. There's 9v across the ground and pin 4 continuous that keys the circuit on my FT-ONE. When it keys the CW charactors switch t

Hi Steve, No I didn't rename the FPORT16.EXE file. I was not aware that was needed with UserPort. I looked for the the LPT port listed in the writelog.ini. Couldn't find it. The OS I'm using is Windo

Yes the voltage on the transistor collector goes to zero when a dot or dash is being sent. It must be the keying circuit on my FT-One that doesn't like the voltage constant that keeps it keyed until

Hello Jim, Thanks for the help on the frustration that I have been experiencing with the CW keying setup. I suspect that it may be my soldering technique that has destroyed the NPN transistor. I've t

Hi Jim, Well I bought fresh transitors... rewired the circuit... It shows keying on my VOM but still gives me charactor spaces keying on the FT-ONE. I also have noticed that when I open Writelog the

Hello Ed, I was refering to the pins on the LPT port if I were to install WIndows 98. The LPT port keys perfectly with CT. The keying circuit of the FT-ONE may be the problem with keying with the com
