I am considering purchase of a SO2R controller to use with Writelog, given this is the Writelog reflector I guess the bias will be heavily towards the W5XD keyer, that is to be expected of course and

Before you go that route, consider using two networked computers. The second one can be an old clunker and might even cost less than a SO2R controller. I have used two computers for RTTY contesting.

As a comparison / alternative, I have been using one computer with two monitors and two sound cards for several years and have been very happy with it for operation SO and SO2R. All stations have W5X
