I just came in and plugged my antennas in to find that one of my FT990s is broken. On initial power up, it comes on then goes into transmit mode after a second or two. It shows little power out, and

Where is the power output adjustment pot on the FT990? I need to turn mine up a bit to drive an amp. Probably 110-120 watts would do it. What maximum power do you find that you can get out of a 990?

I am experiencing a problem with my FT990 when used with my Ameritron Al1200 amp on 160 and 80m. The relay in the AL1200 cuts off the first dit on CW. I seem to remember someone else had this problem
