- Wow are they ever slow! I just removed the S-meter and put it back again and the whole operation took less then an hour. I havent removed this display glass but it sure doesnt look difficult at all.

- As long as the 1000D was in production there surely was modifications along the line. In my service manual there are som but ofcourse they end when the manual was printed, a later manual would ofcour

- Well, I´m sure I´m wrong then. Someone told me years ago that it went out (in 1995 I think) of production. Hope I´m wrong, it´s a darn good radio once you fix the 2:nd and 3:r
