Kevin low sensitivity can be caused my lots of problems....Only way to know what the sensitivity is ,is to run a S/N test..This would require a precision sig gen an audio dummy load and a AC volt met

1. Connect a dummy load instead of the antenna..This will eliminate possible RF feedback to the xceiver. 2.Use another power supply..Looks like power supply fault and/or partial short in radio. _____
