Steve, The exact same thing happened to me about 10 years ago.. A nearby lightning stike took out a chip in the 'MP. I'd have to look at the schematic to see which one, but its obvious, I just can't

The CAT indicator on my FTDX5000MP has always glowed GREEN. After installing WIn4Yaesu suite, it now glows YELLOW. The manual says it should flash RED. What is it telling me? 73, Larry K4AB _________
