A friend of mine that was the service manager at KComm, The Ham Store, here in SanAntonio, got me a new replacement fan from Yaesu last year....unfortunately it was a "muffin" fan and not the origin

I just sold my 4th one in January! Good rigs, but, I just have too many radios! They do work well and of all the ones I have had I do miss the FT101F the most....oh well, maybe someday I'll find one

The original tubes, usually NEC's or Toshibas were banded around the bottom with a green stripe. These are the ones that you want to look for, they were more robustly made and will last a lot longer
