- A friend of mine that was the service manager at KComm, The Ham Store, here in SanAntonio, got me a new replacement fan from Yaesu last year....unfortunately it was a "muffin" fan and not the origin

- The original tubes, usually NEC's or Toshibas were banded around the bottom with a green stripe. These are the ones that you want to look for, they were more robustly made and will last a lot longer
