- Hi All, I've got the opportunity to purchase an Yaesu FTH 2005 at a very reasonable price. Is it worth the "hassle" of trying to get it into the Ham bands (144-148MHz) and fit it with a tone board? I

- It should be. But you will have to use the external programmer. It's just a type accepted FT23R without most of the keypad removed. The factory data sheet says the coverage is 134 to 154Mhz Dave WA0Z
