I can not get the Steppir (4.591) controller to interface with the Orion II (2.037j). Transceiver mode on the steppir is ORION. I am using Baud 57600. I am plugged directly into the Orion ( no Y cabl

I agree with Jerry, ( KG6TT) on the so called audio problems. I checked my studio one mic and Heil cable, and the grounds were crossed and not intact. this was causing the BAD audio distortion I was

I was getting flicker on my O 1, and I ended up running a braid from the ground on the radio to the ground on the power supply and that took care of it. YMMV tom N6AJR _______________________________
