What type is it? Probably a TB4/1250? None of the Siemens triodes are for zerobias GG, you need some negativ gridvoltage to reduce dissipation, otherwise thes work very well in linears 73 Peter _____

Hi Stef, You are right, the 7527 is the QB4/1100. They are doing fine in my L4B which I modified on the pin wiring, all grids connected to each other. They certainly need more drive then the 3-500Z.
