Are you sure you have the roofing filter set to auto so it kicks in when you cut down the bandwidth? Could his splatter have been so bad it really was that wide? A filter can't filter out what is in

I am frustrated because I am away from my Orion and can't download the new software and check these things but . . . Does changing the filter taps make a difference? I would find a loss of 6 db audio

I can't communicate with the radio. Do I recall a discussion that you must use a serial cable and not a USB > Serial converter device? What is the workaround if you have no serial port on you compute
