Yes, it is very different. Try reducing the RF gain or increase the AGC threshold and hang levels. That seems to help but I haven't had time to play with it enough to come up with the answer. k4ia Cr

Personally, I would be perfectly happy with insulated, quarter-inch brass bolts placed on the back of the transceiver, allowing the owner to connect directly from the bolts to the power supply Amen!
