When I worked for IBM Corp. (30 years service, now retired) THE POLICY was we do not pre-annouce products! To do so was grounds for dismissal! There are many, many reasons that this is a good policy.

The advantage is the 572-B is more rugged, the Centaur and Collins 30L-1 are running those 811A's pretty hard, they get pretty hot. Many have replaced the 811A's with 572B's and been happy about the
