It doens't sound like it would take much to turn this rig into a PC. Why not just add a hard drive and keyboard jack and be done with it? Steve Ellington N4LQ. -- Original Message -- From: "Mark Erba

I've never tried an Inrad in a TT rig. They may be a little more narrow but I would be concerned with how they respond to band noise. The Omni V is a pleasant rig to listen to and it would be a shame

As simple looking as that tuner is, you could finish it with some spray paint and masking tape is you had the correct color. The black part is already done for you so all we need is some gray paint.

While the above is technically correct, there is still something mysteriously quiet about simple receivers that make them more pleasant to monitor. Take for instance the TenTec T-kit series which is

In my unprofessional opinion.....Every time we run that little signal through a non-active component such as a transformer, diode, coil, capacitor or filter of any type, we loose some of it. Then we

George, are you saying the PRO has no means to vary the IF bandpass before reaching the DSP? If you set DSP for 100hz bandwidth, does the IF bandwidth remain wide open at it's default? The TS-870 has
