I'd check two things: (1) If it goes part way up, make sure that one of the many bolt/nut combinations that hold the track in place isn't loose and interfering with the proper movement of the hazer.

Tashjian Towers (www.tashtowers.com) may be able to help, as they have assumed the Tri-Ex line. My more modern version (mfg. by Paragon, sold through First Call Communications, about 6 years ago) use
