No, I have heard you need to reduce the gain but when you put both rigs side by side with no antenna the Orion has much moee internal noise. I think it is just a fact of life. Any suggestions? 73 Bob

I had my Orion II shipped two day air and it arrived in perfect condition. Not a ding in the boxes (although I don't have the faintest idea how much bouncing and shaking occurred). But, it works....
