Cam, FWIW....Telrex built good mono band beams. However, I've heard too many horror stories about their trapped beams. Seems they had lots of blown traps. I think they even used vacuum capacitors in

Russ, The balun on the TH7 often fails (shorts between the wires). They have a higher power balun. In the mean time, I'd coil up some RG8 Coax, perhaps 6 or 8 turns on a 6" diameter for a substitute

Hi Charlie, Sounds like the Cushcraft model 40-2CD. There are no traps. They are loading coils and a capacity hat. The data sheet/assembly manual should be on the Cushcraft website. 73, Joe, W1JR ___
