You have to be careful sometimes with what tower and/or antenna companies provide as they might relate to your specific installation. In my case in 2007 with a 19 foot roof tower, the tower manufactu

The big problem I see in the antenna market right now is how many smaller antenna companies or those sold off for what ever reason, have gone to distributors to manage their sales. In many cases, ins

I found out the hard way that tilting a tower, sideways on a pitched roof, has a bit of an extra pull of force, or slip, as soon as the tower begins to tilt past the roof line- we were lowering with

your seeing changes in the FEEDPOINT impedance using a tuned raised radial, thus your SWR will move if yoy mess with them. Suggest you consider using UnUns at the feedpoints to match the coax impeden

this is why I prefer a comtek hybred coupler.....I would suggest you look into one. You will use 75 ohm coax due to velocity factors but any RF feeding back due to SWR is burned off in a dummy load.

I never have heard of a successful array using raised radials ... so this has been a good exercise. Also strongly agree with tuning the verticals to the intended frequency ..... but this is all with
