i haven't tried in s/o but normaly to switch modes you use alt-f1/alt-f2 i think. (maybe ctrl-f1/ctrl-f2, would have to look at keyboard template to be sure right now.) 73, dave

Bingo! But only if you're trying these utilities on a CT9 log. The header in CT9 is now 4K bytes (it was 1K byte in CT8). Since R2B8 manually creates the header, it will put QSOs in the 3K bytes afte

b2r9 and r2b9 have the same problem, the reconstituted log is corrupted and most qso's are lost. that along with the crashes caused by trying to correct modes when we forgot to change it when we qsy'
